Based on the myth of Jason and Medea. After aiding her husband and Greek hero Jason in his quest to find the Golden Fleece, Medea finds herself living in exile. Jason has left her and their children in order to seek a new political marriage, and Medea finds herself left with little recourse as the play builds to shocking, tragic conclusion.
